LUXWERK: A landmark site with history and an enduring character
LUXWERK in Berlin boasts a rich and storied past, with its origins dating back to the historic Maschinen-Glaswerk designed by the architect Waldemar Pattri in 1927/28 for OSRAM. This groundbreaking factory ushered in an era of fully automated, mass-production lamp bulbs in Europe and revolutionised an entire industry. Spanning a total area of 116,000 square metres, the site was acquired by AVENTOS in the summer of 2021. Under new ownership, LUXWERK is undergoing a transformation into a modern, productive and premium technology campus.
